Lovedale Scavenger Hunt
The Lovedale Baptist Scavenger Hunt to benefit the Chipola Family Ministry Center food bank is Saturday, October 31st beginning at 5PM. All Children from preschool to 5th grade are being recruited for this scavenger hunt. Everyone is to meet at the church at 5PM for a cookout and instructions for the scavenger hunt.
This scavenger hunt will allow the children to go to safe houses (houses that have agreed to participate) throughout the Lovedale community where people will give them food items from their list. Each food item is worth a certain number of points. Based upon the food items collected, the children will compete for prizes. After the scavenger hunt, each child will be provided with a bag filled with candy, etc in addition to any items won during the scavenger hunt. The children will make their way to the houses on a hayride through the community. All children will be well supervised and parents are welcome on the hayride and during all parts of this event. Since this is a scavenger hunt, children are encouraged to come in disguises. All disguises should be in good taste and not represent any type of horror.
